Alongside building sustainable houses, KARC aims to provide sustainable power as well. Solar panels have been installed in this mom’s home and she is very excited about the free, efficient power now available for her family. KARC’s goal is to provide solar power with every house they build.

We are sad to report that Sana, a child within KARC, has died. KARC helped to have a tumor removed from her eye, but recently the cancer returned. This 13-year-old boy has been waiting for a wheelchair. KARC recently delivered it and watched as the boy moved into his new transportation. He thought he might never have a wheelchair and waited a long time for this day!
The upcoming future of Cambodia is finishing their university classes as we speak. One such young man, a friend and law student, needed funds for just one final year. KARC has provided him this money and he is delighted to continue and finalize his classes. He may even be a help to KARC in the future!
These medical kits have been donated to KARC for Cambodian midwife medical students. The kits provide an accurate test of glucose levels in the blood.
