A friend of KARC sent us information about Thai and Sreyneat, who were living in his homeland. The mother died years ago in the bridge stampede in Phnom Penh and the father abandoned them shortly after. Their only caregiver was a very abusive grandfather.
KARC assessed the situation and brought the children to CIO. After they warmed to CIOs mom and dad and their new siblings, smiles were growing. Sreyneat stayed close to CIO mom, Mum, and has learned a bit about sewing.
